Mension garden in Eisenach, Thuringia
This estate (house and garden) was builted in 1865 and experienced many changes in the course of the time.
The park had once a size of 40,000 m². Today there are still about 3,500 m².
After the reunification of Germany gradually the old wood was staged,
like the 300 year old oak, the 100 year old yew, copper beech or the soon 6 m high rhododendron.
Following an old plan and local opinion the garden gradually awaked in the style of 1900 with view
relations to the Wartburg-castle.
The main task: to recognize, uncover and to complete structures.
Plants focus: magnolias, rhododendrons and shrubs.
