The "Minnegarten" (garden of courtly love) on the Wartburg-castle
This garden is located outside of the Wartburg-castle, between the castle and
the hotel of the castle. Following the historical pattern, there should grow a
small romantic rose garden. There were used rose varieties with reference to the Wartburg-castle or to
Eisenach or even robust, several times flowering historic roses. Here are: variety Wartburg,
Eisenach, Robin Hood, Madame Hardy, Rose de Resht and others.
